Hi everyone! My name is Afifa and I am the Proframming Director for the Undergraduate Psychology Students Association. I am in my fourth and final year here at York. I was originally a general member for UPSA last year and now I am excited to be a part of the executive team. I have absolutely loved my experience as a Psychology student at York and I am looking forward to planning awesome events and making you all feel just as I do! I can't wait to have a fun, interactive and engaging time with you all this year!

HI everyone! My name is Khadeejah and I am the Secretary and one of the Programming Coordinators here at UPSA. I am in my final year at York and so excited to graduate to pursue a post graduat education in Psychology. Being a part of UPSA has been great, and we are so luckly to have such a dedicated team this year,who are commited to helping students and making it easier for them to get through thier undergraduate education. Hey Everyone! My name is Laura and I'm currently the marketing director here at UPSA. I'm entering my fourth and final (wow!) year of the BA Psychology Program here at York. I've been a member of UPSA for the past two years and absolutely love it. I wish I joined earlier as it has helped me meet so many great people and feel more engaged in Yorks huge student body and campus life. After taking a few secod year psych courses i fell in love with the subject. I switched into the BSc psychology major program in 2nd year from Biomedical Sciences. Probably the greatest decision ive made. Psychology has allowed me to think more objectively, that there is so much more to a person and their mind than what we perceive. I am in my third year and i wish to pursue optometry where i can consistently practice my love for meeting people, psychology, and the human eye.

Hello all! My name is Carmen, and this year I am very excited to be your 2015-2016 Tutor Director. I am currently finishing my last year in Psychology, and am also a Peer Mentor over at Founders’ Peer Mentoring Program. I am also fluent in Chinese, and I am dedicated to helping each of you succeed and accomplish your goals. Joining UPSA has allowed me to contribute my passions to hope to inspire and encourage students to chase their dreams and reach optimal success in life. Hi all! I'm going into 3rd year for Psychology BA Honors, I joined UPSA in first year as a general member, last year I was a volunteer executive and also a tutor with UPSA for some students in first year. This year I'm super excited to be the tutor coordinator to help set up and run the tutoring program so that all the psych students can get the academic help they need. I joined UPSA to meet and get to know other people who were taking psychology at York and also to be apart of a club that actually related to my major. Since joining UPSA I've met some really amazing people, learned a lot more about psychology, about potential careers opportunities in psychology and also about how to reach these opportunities.
