UPSA Presents: The Mock GRE Exam

Instructors from The Princeton Review provided students with an example booklet and study guide for the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). The knowlageable instructors gave the students an oppertunity to ask any questions regarding the exam and what to expect, as well as provided them with options for services to help them prepare. This is a great event for anyone considering graduate school.

UPSA will be hosting representatives from local MENTAL HEALTH organizations to discuss their services. Learn about these organizations and see how YOU can get involved within their organizations through VOLUNTEER opportunities, JOB opportunities, and WORKSHOPS!

FHSC Meet and Greet Event

The Faculty of Health Student Caucus is hosting the annual Faculty of Health Meet and Greet this week!
You are invited to come out and take advantage of the opportunities it provides. You'll be able to meet with your professors, peers, administration, and faculty members in a comfortable and casual setting. The evening will be split between two information panels; 1) the General and 2) Specific panels.
The General Panel will provide an opportunity where students can ask and discuss any questions, ideas, or concerns they may have about their academic careers.
The Program Specific Panel will follow after dinner. This panel will give students an opportunity to ask more program specific questions.
The main goal of this event is to facilitate comfortable interaction between you and your professors in a low-stress environment!

At this event new and returning York students had the oppertunity to meet some of the Psychology and surrounding faculties professors. This social night, with provided refreshments, allowed the students and teachers a way to communicate about what to expect in their University career as a student, and what the professors expect from them, giving them the tools they need to do well, not only in their courses, but in all courses here at York and beyond!
